Long Tall Sally is a retailer of fashion for taller women with twenty stores around the UK, stores in North America and online and multiple catalogues annually. Its mission is to be the first choice for tall women clothes worldwide.
The retailer had complex ecommerce requirements. It wanted to launch and manage multiple sites through a new platform that was going to be easier to maintain and required less training than is often required when integrating disparate technologies. The new ecommerce system needed to support a multilanguage, multi-currency website to support its long term aims to build the brand globally.
We suggested that Long Tall Sally use the hybris platform, because it provided the flexibility and functionality that Long Tall Sally needed to manage its existing online, catalogue and retail channels in the UK. The new ecommerce system significantly enhanced the company’s online merchandising and promotional capabilities, enabling the company to drive sales conversion rates through its full-text search facility, interactive product recommendations and a user review system that allows customers to rate products and buyer experience overall.
