Portaltech Reply, the Reply Group company specialising in consulting services for multi-channel eCommerce strategies and solutions, has partnered with SPAR ICS, the group-wide assessed IT service centre of SPAR Austria Group, to provide to Hervis, a SPAR brand leader in sports apparel and equipment, a new ecommerce omni-channel platform. The platform is based on the hybris retail's best practice and Accelerator, in order to integrate the company's physical and digital stores.
Hervis, headquartered in Wals (Salzburg) in Austria, is one of the largest players in the European sports retail market. With approximately 190 branch locations, Hervis has invested in developing an eCommerce platform based on hybris technology, to support the entire customer journey. The solution is capable of ensuring a homogeneous shopping experience, regardless of the channel used.
In line with the company's needs and in recognition of the importance of expanding boundaries in today's market, both in terms of the end user as well as the retailer, Portaltech Reply and SPAR ICS have developed seven online stores, implemented using hybris Retail Accelerator to quickly adapt to the hybris framework. This integration allows Hervis to take advantage of a single comprehensive view of all customer communication channels, from looking inside a starter store and developing a responsive website; to increasing the competitiveness of its solution. It now enables Hervis to develop capacity of a business partner ecosystem (digital marketing, payments); and ensures fast integration with the back-shop processes and legacy systems.
Portaltech Reply partnered closely with SPAR ICS in the technical design and implementation of key features such as reservation, click & collect, pay in the market, the in-store module and the many other services offered. The collaboration between SPAR ICS and Portaltech Reply has also brought enormous benefits to the latter, enabling it to improve its knowledge and expertise of the various types of international payment methods available.
The new platform enables consumers, shopping in a Hervis store, to purchase a product that is not in stock, due to size or colour limitations, by paying in store and then having the product delivered at home. These payment methods are integrated perfectly with the various types of fufillment available, offering the customer a wide range of delivery options, including at home or collecting in-store.
