The Brief

Premier Farnell wanted to create a competitive advantage by developing a simplified express checkout facility across all its websites, to reduce abandonment rates and increase sales.

The Solution

Portaltech Reply implemented an express checkout system. The express checkout service became critical to supporting Premier Farnell drive a higher proportion of its business online. The service was implemented in only three months and within budget.

Since launch there has been:

  • Huge increase in online sales
  • 50% reduction in abandonment rates across Premier Farnell’s 42 global websites
